UI/UX Design
Summary
Humber Current is a platform designed to bridge the gap between students, alumni, and career opportunities. It provides users with easy access to job listings, program exploration, and networking, creating a centralized space to connect, learn, and grow professionally.
Project Goal
The goal is to create a user-centered design for Humber Current, making it easy for students and alumni to apply for jobs, explore programs, and connect. The website will have a consistent design, clear communication, and fun elements to enhance the user experience.
Research
Audit
A UX audit was conducted on the website to assess and identify areas for improvement.
Usability: The website is hard to navigate, with unorganized information that’s difficult to find.
Design: Buttons and icons are inconsistent, layout feels cluttered with little white space, and lacks visual appeal.
Target Audience
Jamie was a user persona created for this case study. She’s a passionate Humber student looking to seamlessly apply for jobs, find relevant programs, and easily connect with other alumni. She’s stressed about the job market and values a user-friendly, efficient experience on the platform.
